Let’s talk about pork. Bacon. Pulled pork. Pork belly. Crackling. It’s all good and it’s all being transformed into mouth watering dishes all over Brisbane. Faced with the choice of so many delicious porky options we couldn’t pick just one to hunt down – so we chose them all! The result – an epic list of the best porky feeds to pig out on in Brisbane. #1. Smashed minted pea breakfast | Pablo | New Farm

Vegetables for breakfast can only be justified when served alongside pork. Especially when it’s pork baked in cider, orange, maple and spices, and served with minted peas and a feta and beetroot potato hashcake.

#2. Pork belly | Habitat | West End

Plated up with a baked apple stuffed with dates and bacon (MORE PORK), wilted kale, orange and red chard salad, this pork belly’s secret comes in the form of blue cheese dressing.

#3. Rosticciana di maiale | Bar Alto | New Farm

Bar Alto’s sweet and sour pork spare ribs with apple slaw and chips are supposed to be shared between two people. But we wont judge if you decide it’s a meal for one.

#4. Whole Hog wood-fired pizza | Firefly | CBD

The pizza base to meat ratio has never been so right. Bacon, ham, salami, chorizo, red onions, olives and mushroom (because vegetables = health), all melted onto a tomato base.

#5. Ragu alla bolognese | Spaghetti House | South Bank

Mouth-watering low cooked pork and beef, in a soffritto, wine and tomato sauce. With pasta of course, because carbs.

This hunk-of-meat-on-wheels is a carnivore’s dream. We’re talking pulled pork, pork roast pieces AND bacon, and homemade coleslaw on a sweet bun. #omg

#7. Pig City | Hoo Ha Bar | South Brisbane

A share board of pork belly, Hungarian salami, crisp pancetta and chorizo, all served with sriracha mayonnaise and flatbread. Try as you may, this one may actually have to be shared.

#8. Pork belly with crisp pig’s ears | e’cco Bistro | CBD

Roasted pork belly and apple, artichoke and black pudding are served with crisp, oven baked pig’s ears. Oink.

#9. Twice cooked pork belly | Cove | South Brisbane

More pork belly? Always. This one is twice cooked and braised in orange and ginger rum.

#10. Crispy pork hock | Madam Wu | CBD

Asian fusion has never been tastier than oven roasted crispy pork hock with with stir-fried kimchi and apple.

#11. Pork belly burger | Chur Burger | Fortitude Valley

Chur Burger’s signature dish, this sweet and salty burger features chilli caramel, slaw and aioli over drizzled over crispy pork belly. Drool.

Cooked for 18 hours and served with apple slaw – these might be the simplest and tastiest ribs that ever dripped down your chin.
